We propose a method for analyzing brands using user attributes from Twitter. Our method extracts attributes from user descriptions and brands' features from tweets, and calculates the relevance between attributes and features through their co-occurence. Our proposal includes a novel approach for estimating the attributes of a user, through their social neighbors. Experiments with Twitter data show our method achieves better recall than a ranking method based on global popularity. Furthermore, in our experiments, our method succeeded in increasing the number of extracted attributes extending attributes that relate to a brand's feature despite using a limited social graph. |
