Electrospray Deposition (ESD) Technique with Colloidal Organic Semiconductor Dispersed in Water for Organic Photovoltaic Devices

(in English) Organic thin film photovoltaic devices were fabricated using a novel aqueous processing. An active layer of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) was prepared by electrospray deposition (ESD) technique with P3HT colloidal particles dispersed in water. The performance of the photovoltaic device (ITO/P3HT/Al) was comparable to that of the device fabricated using typical spin-coating method. These results demonstrate that the novel aqueous processing is a good candidate for the manufacturing method of organic photovoltaic devices.
