An Experimental Study of the Wireless Power Transmission with Electrically Coupled Type Used Piezo-Electric Transformer

(in English) In recent years, Attention gathered in the technology of raising the transmitting efficiency by using high Q value of transmitting and receiving coil besides coupling coefficient k though the electric power transmission by the long distance using the technology of magnetic field resonance that MIT announced in 2007. In addition, there is also wireless power transmission technology of the electrically coupled method using of the high voltage. The series resonance by the capacitive coupling between transmission-and-reception electrodes and inductance addition is used, and electric power transmission is performed. Although the piezo-electric transformer is used as a lighting circuit of the cold cathode fluorescent lamps official as an object for the back lights of a liquid crystal display, it is used also as an object for corona discharge, and is used for ion generation control technology etc. By this report, the drive circuit which used the piezo-electric transformer is made as an experiment, a simulation is performed using LT-spice and Common use of a transmitted electrode and a HF band RFID antenna, the examination result of the characteristic between electrodes are shown.
