A Method to Enhance Throughput in A Multi-Tasking Environment on A Server with Many-Core Accelerators

(in English) On a server with a many-core accelerator, it is important to utilize all resources on the host processor and the accelerator for maximizing the throughput in a multi-task environment.In this paper we propose a hybrid offloading method which fills all these resources. The key ideas are embedding various offloading methods in a program, and selecting appropriate one from those methods for each successive input data to make all the resources kept busy. Results of evaluations indicate the proposed method enhances more than 20% throughput against the existing methods.
