| (in English) | In this paper, we propose an activity localization method with contextual information of multiple person relationships. Activity localization is a task to determining "who participates to an activity group", such as detecting "walking in a group" or "talking in a group". Though former activity recognition methods succeed by using contextual information, the contextual use has been limited to the local information extracted from one person (e.g. the appearance of people nearby the focal person) or two persons relationship (e.g. people are facing to the same direction in "queuing" activity). We propose group features, which represent the global spatial information from the whole of an activity. The group features encode useful relationships for activity localization, such as right-facing persons are on the left side and left-facing persons are on the right side in "talking" activity. The experimental result shows the group features improve activity localization performance. |
