Gfarm, a distributed file system for a petabyte scale data intensive computing or a shared storage for big data, is gradually used as system infrastructure in science research or business. It is a promising file system, however, it does not provide a function to prevent from data falsification. We implemented a file authentication system using timestamp mechanism to work with Gfarm. This paper reports the way to combine timestamp mechanism with Gfarm and the evaluated results using dummy files based on real files in a cloud service using Gfarm. |
