Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Are measures against SSL/TLS sites dependent on the category which that site belongs?

It has been recognized man-in-the-middle attacks that can be injections are pointed out in 2009, the message to the SSL/TLS protocols, and specification issues have been resolved consequently and issued RFC5746 by IETF communities. However many web sites not supported are left since it is a measure that does not maintain the backward compatibility. In addition, browser-initial renegotiation feature can induce DoS attacks is known, it has been also confirmed the spreading and uses of user-friendly tool attack.Microsoft published measures that do not accept the certificates less than 1024 bits in August this year, NISC announced revised transition schedule to RSA2048 with clarification in the e-government system by in November. As can be seen in these cases, a common understanding that we should not use RSA 1024-bit keys is spreading. In addition, the concept of CRIME attacks was published in November, this attacks can guess the plaintext from the difference in length of dictionary compression function.
