Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper present a novel spur suppression technique for a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) using a phase holding digital-to-analog converter(PH-DAC). The proposal technique adds two signals generated DDS using PH-DAC (PH-DDS) with in-phase clock by 90deg hybrid coupler, and suppresses spurs by phase cancellation method. Evaluated spur levels of the proposed PH-DDS at 2.5GHz-band are from -41.4 to -33.7 dBc, and are improved by 28dB or more.
