[Poster Presentation] A Study on MU-MIMO-OFDM Nonlinear Suppression Scheme Employing Transmit Power Control
Gen Osada, Shoya Takebuchi, Fumiaki Maehara (Waseda Univ.) WBS2012-42
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) MU-MIMO-OFDM is an effective technique to achieve both high transmission rate and high capacity because the robustness against multipath fading and the use of space division multiplexing are exploited from OFDM and MU-MIMO, respectively. In this report, we investigate the influence of the nonlinear distortion on MU-MIMO-OFDM and then propose the MU-MIMO-OFDM nonlinear suppression scheme employing SNDR-based transmit power control. The performance evaluation is carried out in terms of frequency spectrum, signal diagram, and bit error rate (BER) and furthermore, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is clarified compared with the traditional MU-MIMO-OFDM.
