Activation of brain in living environment where elders spend much of their time in daily life leads to nursing care prevention. In this study, higher brain function and the stress of subjects are evaluated at typical everyday living places using continuous performance test (CPT) and heart rate variability (HRV), and evaluation values are compared. Scores of CPT were high at spaces where human voices and nature sound were heard but the change of HRV varies with each individual. We aim for the application of these values to evaluate living environments and design facilities for elders.
