| (in English) | Recently, a brain-computer interface (BCI) which can control devices with electroencephalogram (EEG) has been studied. The aim of this paper is to extract features toward brain waves when gazing or imagining five kinds of shapes and to investigate electrode locations and features contributing to the discrimination. In this study, two experiments were conducted. FFT power spectrums were employed to obtain effective feature space using within and between variance. Subsequently, Bayes classification was performed though changing conditions for features and recording electrodes. We obtained over 80 % of accuracy for the discrimination against five classes. It suggested that shapes subjects imagined were able to be classified from EEG. | |
