Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The ferromagnetic resonance linewidth is an essential material constant to show the characteristics of the microwave ferrite. Currently, the linewidth has been evaluated by the method described in the IEC publication 60556. The measuring frequency of this method is restricted to the resonance frequency of the cavity and the poor resolution of a Gauss meter made difficult to improve the accuracy. The progress of digitalized measuring system remarkably improved the accuracy of the linewidth measurement of a ferrite sample in a non-resonant test fixture at arbitrary frequencies. The accurate evaluation by the non-resonant test fixture and the data consistency to IEC publication 60556 are reported.
