Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, a taxi radio system has serious problem of signal blind zones caused by skyscrapers especially in the metropolitan area. To cope with this problem, the consideration of the multi-cell system using the same frequency is now in progress. In this report, we propose the coordinated multipoint transmission (CoMP) employing the GPS localization which can be easily obtained by the taxis. The feature of the proposed approach is that the GPS localization can roughly provides the Inter-Cell Interference by measuring the distance between the base station (BS) and the taxi. the e ff ectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated in comparison with both the scheme without CoMP and the CoMP based on the instantaneous SINR.
