The metal coated non-woven fabrics is proposed as a solution to on-board-level the electromagnetic compatibility problem.
This paper discussed the shielding effectiveness and Joule loss of the metal coated non-woven fabric using an electrical circuit analysis and full wave electromagnetic field simulation. Shielding effectiveness of the non-woven fabric is essentially equivalent to that of the continuous film and can be estimated with sheet resistance defined as the quotient of thickness and resistivity of the non-woven fabrics. Oh the other hand, noise suppression in near field can be obtained with the circuit model using the capacitances of between non-woven fabrics. |
