A Study on Sn-whisker growth by thermal cycle

(in English) Sn whisker grow up like curl shape under the thermal cycle test. However in some conditions, it grow up straight shape. To clarify the condition, we studied material kinds under the plate, plate thickness, plate bath, atmosphere and thermal profile. As the conclusion, it grow up straight shape under no-oxidation atmosphere. It grow up as hundreds micro meters because of the combination among material kinds under the plate, plate thickness, plate bath, atmosphere and thermal profile.
