Analysis of MRC Diversity Characteristics of OFDM where Delay Profile Exceeds the Guard Interval [III] -- Derivation of Key Equations and Summary of Calculation Scheme --

(in English) By extending the previously developed SISO ETP (equivalent transmission-path) model to SIMO-MRC ETP model, we derive a closed-form calculation scheme having very high prediction accuracy for the statistical characteristics of irreducible errors in a propagation environment whose delay profile exceeds the guard interval in OFDM communications. Although various assumptions and approximation were introduced in the construction of the model in order to simplify the specific calculation procedure, the developed model showed extremely high accuracy in evaluating the transmission characteristics. As the final stage of the modeling, we summarize the step-by-step calculation procedure of floor BER in this report.
