Calculation on High Frequency Characteristics of Electrode to Separate Cells Using Dielectrophoresis

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) A system for identifying leukemia cells by using the dielectrophoresis being a phenomenon that particles are moved by gradient electric fields has been researched. Compared with the traditional systems, the system to identify the leukemia cells using the dielectrophoresis has good advantages such as low cost, fast identifying time, and easy operation. With this in mind, the high frequency characteristics of the bottle-neck electrode to control the dielectrophoresis were calculated in this paper.
