[Poster Presentation] A Study on Supression of Out-of-band Emission of OFDM Signals

(in English) This paper discusses the out-of-band emission suppression of OFDM signals. Usually, out-of-band emission of radio signals should be suppressed due to avoid mutual interference between different wireless communication systems. This stipulation becomes strict for use of white space (WS), especially the use of WS in UHF band for terrestrial TV broadcast (TVWS). In this paper, performance of spectrum leakage suppression has been evaluated for OFDM signals by increasing guard carrier, insertion of cancellation carrier, respectively. Simulation results show that insertion of cancellation carrier has some advantage for suppression of spectrum leakage in OFDM signal, however, further study is necessary to comply with stipulation on out-of-band emission for use of WS.
