Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Visual and auditory cues, such as photographs, objects and music, are used to provoke and share the
elderly person's life stories at dementia care. These reminiscence activities in personal and group communications
could be effective to improve his/her quality of life through maintaining conversational abilities, enhancing social
relationships, etc. However, caregivers should devote considerable efforts to assemble photographs and anecdotes
into a reusable form for future activities. In this study, the elderly persons had totally 193 minutes and 33 seconds
conversations with their caregivers with help of photographs displayed in an Android tablet. We attempted to ex-
tract reusable keywords to provoke their reminiscence from the transcript of the conversation. We sorted keywords
by tf-idf, calculated 11-point average precision, and discuss the potential of our approach.
