Zinc oxide nano-fibers with the high-carrier mobility have been required for inverted organic photovoltaic cells, and they were formed between the transparent anode and the organic active layer. Therefore, many previous papers demonstrated that the zinc oxide nano-fiber can be formed by the electrospinning method using the precursor solution of sol-gel processes. However, the controllability of the fiber size is not satisfied for practical applications of inverted organic photovoltaic cells. In this research, we investigated the molar concentration of precursor solution and the additive amount of PVP to control the diameter of the zinc oxide nano-fiber. As a result, the diameter decreased with decreasing molar concentration of the precursor solution and additive amount of PVP. The minimum diameter of 30 nm was achieved at the PVP concentration of 0.06 g/ml, and the photoconversion efficiency of the inverted organic photovoltaic cell became 2.31% under the irradiation of AM1.5 light. |
