Performance Evaluation of Channel Switching Scheme for Multi-hop Communication in ROD-SAN

(in English) Wireless sensor actuator networks (WSANs), which have a function of control on
various sensors, are expected as a base technology in the machine to machine
(M2M), the Internet of Things (IoT), and so on. A wireless sensor actuator node
that constructs WSANs needs high response and energy efficiency. Therefore, we
have proposed the ROD-SAN that applied technologies of Radio-on-Demand Networks
(ROD) to WSANs. In this paper, we propose a channel switching scheme for
multi-hop communication in ROD-SAN. Furthermore, we evaluate the proposed scheme
by performing simulations, and show that it can improve performance.
