| (in English) | We have proposed and implemented a {em Web-based Java Programming Learning Assistant System (JPLAS)} to help students studying Java programing by themselves and teachers reducing their teaching loads. JPLAS has two types of {em fill-in-blank problem functions}, namely the {em element fill-in-blank} and the {em statement fill-in-blank}. They have been applied to student as homework assignments in the Java programming course in our department. In this paper, we propose indices to estimate the difficulty of a problem that a teacher generated in JPLAS by enumerating several indexes suitable for this difficulty estimation and performing the correlation analysis with the correct answer rate of each problem among the students. By implementing a difficulty estimation method for each fill-in-blank problem in JPLAS based on the results, we aim a teacher to prepare suitable problems for student levels. | |
