Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The emergence of modern human and language seem to have taken place in Indian and Atlantic Oceans coast in Middle Stone Age in South Africa. About 77 KA (thousand years ago) click consonants were acquired as phonemes, to compose infinite number of sign words by phonemic permutation. About 66KA, laryngeal descent should have taken place and given birth to syllables with morae, enabled by vowel accents. Morae assured that all syllables should reach listeners, and that the grammars were born. They can be defined as “mainly mono-syllabic logical switches to indicate semantic connectivity and modulation.”
The biological basis of language seems to be spinal sign reflexes. The concept is a sign whose waveform to be presented as Antigen at brainstem reticular formation, and is operated by Antigen-Antibody responses with Antibodies presented by B-Cell Receptors of B Lymphocytes. This is logic of Dichotomy. Microglial cells in Neo-cortex are quite similar to Macrophages, and thus displaying Antigen as an index when memorizing sensory memories. In this context, B-Lymphocytes freely move inside CSF (Cerebrospinal Fluid) and constitute networks of linguistic reflexes and semantics among Reticular Formation at brainstem to be activated by audio-visual stimuli and Microglial cells in Neocortex.
Japanese Bunsetsu structure and French “langage articulé” indicate that grammars are processed in combination with concepts. It is possible that a signaling pathway from Fab (Fragment antigen binding) to Fc (Crystallizable Fragment) is employed dualistically to process a “Concept + Grammar” complex. While non-human animals use this dualistic processing for movement vector processing of signs and for individual steps in chained reactions. Grammars function as logical vectors, or highly sound symbolic (onomatopoietic) syllabic switches.
The same dualism seems to be employed into thoughts: the logical comparison or decisions such as (=, ≠,<, ∈,○,×,△) between two concepts and/or two events, as well as the creation of one-step more complex concept through grammatical composition of concepts.
Our intelligence is the harmonic accumulation of conceptual memories and the results of thoughts employing concepts. It learns “from experience and build up a memory that is sustained by reinforcement and that is deposited in persistent network modifications, which cannot be transmitted to our offspring.”
The author discusses on the method how to inherit human intelligence and develop it further.
