Entanglement is considered as an important resource for quantum information processing. However, entanglement deteriorates easily by interaction with environment, and the interaction is sometimes too strong that the deteriorated state cannot be distilled to the maximally entangled state. The state is called bound entanglement. If the bound entanglement can be used, it provides more resources for quantum information processing. In this paper, we propose a protocol that activates certain bound entanglement, N-Smolin states, to 2Nmaximally entangled states. |
