Recently photonic quantum circuit made of optical waveguide on silicon chip has been widely studied. In particular on-chip photon source by use of four wave mixing in silicon waveguide has been demonstrated. However, limited bandwidth for the generated photon pairs is a problem. Here we report our study on Si3N4 waveguide with ring resonator for the realization of a novel photon source. So we research photon source made of silicon nitride (Si3N4) waveguide that does not absorb generated photon pair and transmit visible light. In this poster presentation, we report fabrication and measurement of Si3N4 waveguide with ring resonator.
