A study of a microstrip line resonator composed of a capacitor-loaded coupled line and its application to miniaturized BPF with attenuation poles

(in English) In this study, we rst examine the resonant frequencies and attenuation poles of a resonator which consists of an open-circuited stub and a capacitor-loaded stub by using a circuit simulator. Secondly, a new cou-
pled-line resonator which combined of an another resonator with the resonator mentioned above is proposed. Basic characteristics of the proposed coupled-line resonator are veri ed by a circuit simulator and an electromagnetic simulator. In order to keep away high order resonance frequencies, the stepped impedance con guration is applied to the coupled-line resonator. Moreover, we examine a straight microstrip line resonator bandpass lter which has arranged coupled-line stepped impedance resonators in parallel. We also com rm by electromagnetic simulation and experiment that the miniaturization of the straight type bandpass lter is possible, maintaining the attenuation poles at both sides of the passband by applying a bandpass lter based on spiral microstrip coupled-line resonators.
