As standards for low-power and low-cost wireless mesh network are developed, they are applied to business fields including industries and infrastructures. Trickle is a simple, memory-efficient, and low-overhead broadcast algorithm, and is used in standards. According to node deployment, however, Trickle causes extremely large latency which some application cannot be tolerant. We improved the worst-case latency of Trickle without losing its simplicity over IEEE 802.15.4 network. |
