[Invited Talk] Mirror-symmetric Kerr-rotation from GeTe/Sb2Te3 Superlattice -- Topological insulating sealed in chalcogenide superlattice --

(in English) Chalcogenide superlattice consisting of GeTe/Sb2Te3 multi-crystalline layer with a coherent orientation shows a room-temperature giant magnetoresistance moer than 2000% although no magnetic element is involved. Recently, more interesing magneto-optical property was discovered: mirror-symmetric magneto-optical Kerr-rotation at more than 440K. The unusual feature is related to the topological property of the chalcogen superlattice.
