Experimental evaluation of broadband transmission performance and antenna displacement tolerance in short-range MIMO simple decoding

(in English) We have proposed a simple decoding method for short-range multiple-input multiple-output (SR-MIMO) transmission that can reduce the amount of signal processing calculation by performing MIMO detection with analog weighting circuit. In this report, we evaluate the method’s broadband transmission performance by using the 4-branches SR-MIMO prototype system employing the method. As a result, we show that 16QAM broadband transmission with the relative bandwidth of 7 percent which corresponds to 2-channels in 60GHz band can be achieved. Also, we clarified the method’s tolerance to the position displacement between the transmitting and receiving array antennas.
