(in English) At this time in Malaysia, participation of local researchers in the field of space technology is quite limited in satellite applications and simulations. This is due to the lack of opportunities to show their research in the real system. However, the advents of nano-satellites have the potential to change this. This paper presents a preliminary CubeSat design as a way to demonstrate nano-satellite system. The paper goes on to describe several aspects taken in the design which can be considered when designing the system for the first time.
