The smart fertigation system is a system which consists of fertilizer, irrigation and fuzzy logic control to be a labor-saving device that fertilizes sprout production automatically. Because almost sprout production systems at present time control fertilizer and irrigation by hand which fertilization take two times per day about 8.00 AM. and 6.00 PM. and irrigation take every two hours. The cycle of sprout production is about 4 days to 7 days. The problem of original fertigation system is not proportional of fertilizer and irrigation time for sprout growth.
The smart fertigation system collects micro-climate data using micro-controller with temperature, humidity, pH, and EC sensors. All collected data will be sent though wire or Wi-Fi into field database and web server to access micro-climate data, semi-control and fuzzy-control though web application. The result from smart fertigation system increases performance in sprout production. |
