| (in English) | Active array Antenna System (AAS) is expected for base station antenna of mobile communication system. AAS has the phase-shifter and the amplifier in each antenna element, which allows it to work with variable antenna patterns. If one or some of antenna element does not operate, antenna pattern is broken. In that case, AAS can restore normal antenna pattern by controlling the phase-shifter and the amplifier in other antenna elements which operate normally. We have developed the AAS which has analog phase-shifters and variable attenuators in each antenna element. In this paper, we show it is possible to restore normal antenna pattern and to recover RSRP by measurement in field in the case of one or two antenna elements failure. | |
