Wireless Power Transmission for Intra-body Monitoring Device -- Measurement of Received Power of the Receiving Coil in NaCl Solution --

(in English) A wireless energy transmitting system is required for implanted medical devices. We developed a wireless power feeding system that uses a loop type transmitting coil to send power to a planar type receiving coil implanted deep inside of body. To obtain higher transmission efficiency, we changed transmitting frequency, the number of receiving coil layer and magnetic sheet mounted on the coil. The results showed that a maximum transmission efficiency of 1.89% was obtained at 0.8 MHz with three layer and non-magnetic sheet. The maximum receiving power of 204 mW (5.01 V) was obtained at 0.8 MHz.
