In non-contact high speed data transfer applying short-range multiple-input multiple-output (SR-MIMO) transmission in millimeter wave band, the influence of time varying channels due to user’s hand jiggling can not be ignored, and large processing delay from channel estimation to downlink communication start in KIOSK terminal degrades the performance of transmit beamforming (TxBF). In this report, we propose a fast weight generation method that generate transmit weight with low delay using channel variation information and zero-forcing (ZF) weight generated in the past. Also, we show that the proposed method can reduce the weight generation time and can improve the TxBF’s performance in time varying channels compared to conventional ZF-BF by computer simulation. |
