We have studied an optimization scheme of the parameters, e.g. duplex mode and TDD up-link and down-link ratio, to implrove total network capacity based on the observation of actual traffic condition. But the scheme does not handle the allocation of eNB's resources to UEs, therefore we also need to design a LTE scheuler which works well harmonized to the optimization scheme.
In this paper, we propose a modification of proportional fair scheduler to support a function to allocate resource blocks to UEs considering actual amount of packets to send by the UEs. Then the simulation results show the feasibility and sperior performance of the modified scheduler. |
