Proposal and evaluation of the circular migration method using a differential virtual disk

(in English) In recent years, "Follow The Sun" and "Follow the Moon" type data centers have been studied. To realize both of these types datacenters,
virtual machines and storage need to migrate across the data centers around the globe. In this situation, storage migration methods should be able to reduce
the amount of network traffic by copying and synchronizing only the difference of storage.

However, existing differential replication types of storage migration have a problem in that they are not able to keep the consistency of the storage among hypervisors in the data centers.
If there is an inconsistency in the storage, the hypervisors need to replicate entire storage.

In this paper, we present a new migration method that decouples differential migration and generation management from existing storage migration mechanism.
Through experiments, we confirmed that the proposed method can fulfill the requirements of the amount of network traffic and time of migration.
