Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) One of the applications using life log is to retrieve memorable scenes. In this paper, for extracting memorable scenes from video, we propose a method to use life log that are automatically collected together with video during an event. Here, data in life log are GPS, pulse and sound. Three kinds of important points are extracted from the three data, and based on the important points, particular parts of video are extracted. According to subjective evaluation experiments, it is revealed that users can easily remember things by watching the extracted video and can remember details of the events including what were not recorded in the video.
