Laparoscopic surgery is a recent common surgical technique as one of minimally invasive surgery.
This surgery is performed under the situation, such as the limited field of view egocentric video from a laparoscope, and poor force sensation from surgical instruments.
Especially, the techniques called "Eye-hand coordination", which represents the collaboration of gazing action and hand action (instrument manipulation), is very important technique in the surgery.
In this paper, we analyze gazing actions and instruments manipulation in order to model the "Eye-hand coordination" technique in order to support the training of Laparoscopic surgery. |
