Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, various kinds of open source hardware (OSHW) are developed, and many sensors are also available to use various kinds of information monitoring systems in the field of the architectural engineering. The authors have already examined various kinds of information monitoring systems relating to earthquake responses of buildings using OSHW. However, it is important that performance monitoring systems of buildings are considered to utilize in not only emergences such as earthquakes but also normal periods consistently. Therefore, in this study, data of air conditions such as temperature, humidity and density of CO2 in a room are collected as a monitoring system in normal periods. Users can comprehend air conditions in the room, energy consumptions of air conditioners and so on by monitoring results. Furthermore, it is also considered that reductions of futile energy and comfortable indoor environments can be performed based on results of data analyses of these data. In this research, an information monitoring system using of Arduino as an OSHW and sensors such as temperature, humidity and density of CO2 is developed and measurements on air conditions of a room are performed. In the objective room, a heater, a humidifier and a ventilator are provided. Data collections are performed and a heating machine and a humidifier run during tests in the winter season. Four data loggers are located in different area in the room and one in outdoor and collected data are stored simultaneously in micro SD at a uniform interval. As for test conditions, number of people entering the room and operation of the ventilator are changed. Comparing obtained data, it is clarified that employed OSHW can be available for monitoring on inner air environments of the room.
