A new ultrasonic imaging method using vibration velocity on the sample and ultrasonic transducer is described. Constant voltage driving method is applied to excite the arbitral waveform velocity on the transducer surface. Lase Doppler vibrometer was used to detect the vibration velocity both on the sample and transducer. Vibration velocity is also simulated by the transmission line type equivalent electric circuit and they are compared with experimental results and results a good agreement. The experiment of imaging having characters “U”, “.” and “S” are demonstrated to clarify the usefulness of the method. |
