To generate the ultrashort pulse which overcome the fluorescence spectrum limit of the gain materials, nonlinear effect dependence for ultrashort pulse propagation in mode-locked Yb:YAG laser with an intra-cavity highly-nonlinear medium was theoretically analyzed by using a nonlinear Schrodinger equation. In the theorical analysis, the output spectra were extended by the laser intensity and their widths are much wider than those of the gain medium. These are also much shorter than those of the gain limit of the laser medium. These results show potential that the ultrashort pulse generation can overcome the limit of any gain material by the innovarive scheme. |
