A pulse-to-pulse interferometer with an optical frequency comb is applicable to absolutely long distance (>100 m) measurement because the interferometer can precisely measure interference fringe between mode-locked pulse train. We developed an optical frequency comb interferometer with a long-fiber-based reference path and applied fiber noise cancellation technique to the interferometer. The reference path of sub-100 m was stabilized to nm-level fluctuation, and extremely wide optical length scanning range of sub-m corresponding to pulse separation was demonstrated only by repetition frequency tuning. |
