Error Probability Analysis for Data fusion of End-Nodes in Tree Networks

(in English) In the preceding works on the tree networks composed of binary symmetric channel (BSC), the error probability of majority decision at the fusion center is found to be almost constant regardless of a network size. However, the constant property of error probability is not well discussed. In this paper, a new approach of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is proposed for the theoretical explantion on the constant property. The error probability for data fusion of end-nodes is analyzed by SNR. which is shown to be useful to clarify the constant property. For a topology of 2-dimensional randomly deployed nodes, reliable wireless sensor networks are presented by data fusion of end-nodes.
