Performance Analysis of NOMA within Massive MIMO Systems
Zhang Di, Takuro Sato (Waseda Univ.) RCS2015-57
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In 5G research the Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) and massive Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) has beem proposed for Spectrum Efficiency (SE) recently. Yet few literature focuses on the combination of those two technologies. In this paper, we studies the NOMA within massive MIMO for 5G for the first time. The random matrix theories is addressed here in order to analysis the performance of NOMA within massive MIMO system. The NOMA encoding is utilized while keeping a comprehensive scope by allocating the spectrum with shared NOMA users and separated NOMA users. The new Signal Interference to Noises Ratio (SINR) performance expression is derived here, and also the close-form expressions of BER and outage probability, respectively here in this paper for the first time.
