A Support Tool for Rule-based Scoring of Class Diagrams in UML Modeling Education

(in English) UML modeling education consumes time to evaluate answers of students due to absence of model uniqueness, and also to create feedback to each of the answers. For making the education efficient without decreasing its quality, a support tool to semi-automate rule-based scoring and feedback creation is actualized. By using this tool, a teacher can complete scoring rules by only determining that each template of the rules generated with the tool is correct or incorrect. In this paper, the effectiveness of this tool is evaluated from viewpoints of quality and time by comparing results of manual scoring and of scoring supported by the tool. As a result, reducing scoring time is expected. In addition, there were few differences between the accuracy by manual and in using the tool.
