Direct observation of pulsed EPR entanglement measured by shaped local oscillators

(in English) The strong entanglement correlation that satisfies Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) criterion seemingly violates the Heisenberg's uncertainty relation, and thus demonstrates the EPR paradox. In recent years, the entanglement is regarded as an essential resource for the quantum communication systems. The pulsed entanglement offers an advantage that entangled pulse system can easily be identified and the demonstration of casual separation is easier. However, pulsed light experiment has difficulty in achieving efficient temporal and spatial mode matching. We used parametric amplification to shape the LO pulse and improved temporal mode matching efficiency. We observed entanglement that satisfies EPR criterion without any correction such as detector's noise.
