Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology using existing structure, such as a reinforcing bar, as a repeater to extend power transmission area is proposed. Self-resonant resonator has electric energy and magnetic energy in open space, therefore not only magnetic field but also electric field concern power transfer. Thus, single-conductor structure, which conveys electric charge, can be used as a repeater. Numerical simulation demonstrates capability of this technology. Power transfer mechanism is discussed from electro-magnetic field distribution and charge and current distribution. This technology enables us to extend power transfer area in a room without installing additional structure. From viewpoint of single-wire power transfer, it can be said that this technology is application of Goubau line.
