Prediction of Behavior Modification from the EMG Signals based on Time Frequency Analysis

(in English) In Recent years, the research of estimation for user's cognitive states is area of active research. We focus on the research of estimating user's cognitive states on grasping behavior for recognizing user's feelings. Then, our purpose is applying EMG signals to estimation method of user's cognitive states. In this paper, we introduce the method for a myoelectric forearm prosthesis to predict cognitive states from EMG. The method represents how a controller in a prosthesis. It was called “Petal structure”. A Petal structure is made from EMG signals, wavelet transform and reduction of dimension. A Petal structure can determine unstable action setting outliers. In future works, we have to measure EMG signals and do experiment.
