Small-Scale and Large-Scale Propagation Characteristics for Eigen-Mode Transmission of Spatial Polarized MIMO in Street Cell

(in English) In this study, we clarified propagation characteristics for the adaptive scheduling designs on an spatial polarized MIMO using an eigen-mode transmission in a street microcell. Multipath propagation information was acquired by using a ray-tracing, and evaluation quantities on the complete feedback control of the eigen-mode transmission were calculated by using the information. The quantities are shown as the variations of polarization ratios in array responses, power distribution ratios for each stream, and SNR for the each stream in small-scale and large-scale. In the small-scale, the variations of the polarization ratios for some of the streams are quickly, but those of the power ratios and the SNR are slowly. In the large-scale, the variations of the polarization ratios for all of the streams are quickly, but those of the power ratios is slowly, and those of the SNR decreases slowly as a distance between a transmission and a reception increases.
