In this paper, we propose a task allocation method for multi-core systems with the Duplication with
Temporary Triple Modular Redundancy and Reconfiguration (DTTR) scheme. In the proposed method, task groups based on the maximum parallelism of tasks are generated by using clique partitioning. Tasks which can execute in parallel are classified into different task groups. Then, tasks in a task group are allocated to the same cores as much as possible considering the memory size of cores. In the experiments, we allocate two task graphs with different parallelism into a given multi-core system using the proposed method. Then, we compare the average failure in
time for each execution time with the task allocation method based on Simulated Annealing. |
